Pink and Main Collaboration with ClearSnap!

We hope you enjoy the inspiration found on the team blogs from Pink and Main and Clear Snap.

I did two cards showcasing products from both of these amazing companies. All of my supplies used will hyperlinked throughout.

The first is a fairly simple, but a fun card. I first created an A2 card using Neenah Solar White cardstock. I colored the Pink and Main stamps, My Tribe, using Copic Markers. Then I die cut out the girl and feathers using the coordinating My Tribe Dies. Added a subtle strip of orange patterned paper from the Be Brave 6x6 Paper Pad. For the background I sprayed  Colorbox Spritzers in Mermaid and Grasshooper, then blotted with a paper towel. I love the subtle texture this gave the background. I also used liquid glue and sprinkled some fine glitter, Twinkle Dust by Donna Salazar. I really liked this glitter. Even though it was very fine, it was super easy to clean up and didn't cling to everything. And who doesn't love the cute shaker bottle!

The second card I created using the new Large Fish Tail Banner Dies on Desert Storm Neenah Cardstock. I folded the cardstock in half, leaving the very top edge off the die plate so the banner die would cut into a card. I used the adorable Pink and Main Stamp set, BBQ. The piggie and grill were colored using Copic markers. The background was created using Smooch Spritz in Copper. These pictures do not do this justice. It looks so cool in the light and I thought it really went well with the BBQ theme. The black and white patterned paper is from the Spring Color Pop 6x6 Paper Pad. Finally, the sentiment, which matches this card perfect, was white heat embossed.

There are prizes available for this hop! Pink and main will be giving a $25 gift code to their website, and Clear Snap will be giving away a prize pack valued at $25. All you have to do to win a prize is hop along the blogs and follow and leave comments on their posts. We will choose 2 random winners from the comments posted. We will post the winners on June 1st.

Vertical Thinking of You Card for Pink and Main

Stopping in to share my latest Design Team card for Pink and Main. I used some cute summer stamps and some of the newest releases. As always, a list of the products used will be at the bottom along with links. :)

My Process
I created a standard A2 card using Bazzill white cardstock. I colored the images with my copics. The frames are the new Cloudy Frames Dies released this month. For those, I diecut 4 of the medium frames and stacked them together for dimension. I popped the kiddos so they would look like they were peeking through the frames. The background was created using a ColorBox Spritzers Dye Ink Spray called Mermaid. The sentiment is from the new Vertical Greetings set and was embossed in black ink and powder.

Spread Kindness Floral Card for Pink and Main Stamps

Good Afternoon,

Hope everyone is staying dry. I tell you I have never seen rain like we got in Frederick MD last night. Many, many streets were flooded and even boat rescues in the middle of neighborhoods. Crazy! Anyhow, it was nice to take a break from the madness to work on this pretty card. Who is loving the new floral release?! It is just so much fun to play with these. So for this weeks DT card I decided to take to my Copic markers and some coloring therapy. As always, a list of the products used will be at the bottom along with links. :)
My Process
I created a 5.5 x 5.5 card using Neenah Solar White 110lb card stock. I did my Copic coloring using the same Neenah paper to keep it consistent. After I spent some time coloring up the Floral Background image, I cut it out using our new nested Stitched Squares Dies, and then cut out a purple border with another new nesting set Scalloped Squares Dies. I also had some fun with a "new to me" product from ColorSnap called Twinkle Dust. I put a thick layer of liquid glue down and sprinkled the glitter over and allowed it to dry. The pictures aren't showing just how much dimension this gave the card. **P.S. This little sneak peek is one of many projects I created for our upcoming collaboration with ClearSnap.** Stay tuned! I didn't want to take anything away from the pretty image so I heat embossed the sentiment "Kindness" on vellum (The trick to heat embossing on vellum is to make sure your heat tool is good and warmed up beforehand. Also, helps to heat it on a hard surface to prevent warping. I used a hard board and it worked great.) I wanted to add the "spread" sentiment, so I pulled out an oldie but goodie Pink and Main die set called Stitched Greetings, and cut that tab out in white. Then I heat embossed using the same method as before. I like the overall soft look of the vellum saying.

Floral Thinking of You card for Pink and Main

Good Morning!

I don't know about you, but I couldn't be happier that the weather is warming up and the sun in shining...FINALLY! To celebrate that, I am sharing my latest card for Pink and Main stamps, using their latest May release. These are fun images to color. This time I used watercolor, but I will have others in the coming weeks using other mediums, so check back. As always, details and links are listed below.

My Process
I created a standard A2 card using Neenah Solar White 110lb card stock. I aslo used two 1.5" strips of patterned paper on top and  bottom. I colored the flower panel using water color paper and a water color palette. I added some details with a white gel pen for dimension. Once dried I adhered it to a piece of fun foam (I like to use the kind that already has the adhesive on the back. Skipping the tape step!). I then placed it in the upper middle part of the card and stamped my sentiment on the bottom right. I finished it off with our glossy dots. I really like how bright and fun the card came out.

I wanted to share a little more info about my card for the hop. I had a lot of fun with this one. In theory it was pretty easy, but I love the impact of the water colored background and the pop of the Eyelet Outlet Brads.

I watercolored the background on Bristol smooth card using a basic watercolor palette and a water brush from Arteza. I also used glossy accents for the sun, girls glasses and the water to just add some dimension. I popped up the watercolor background with lots of foam tap to allow the brads to pierce through and not make the paper warp.

I hope you enjoyed a little more info about my card. Don't forget to check out the instagram hop today! You can go HERE to start! and my Instagram post can be found HERE.

Hello there and welcome to my blog!

I was beyond excited to be able to work with my most favorite stamp set, Magical Unicorns! I used bristol smooth card for the background and my base is neenah white 110lb card.

For the background, I blended three of my Tim Holtz distress oxide inks and then applied water for the droplets. I then sprayed it with some glimmer mist to give it some sparkle. My images are water-colored using a watercolor marker and paint brush on bristol smooth card. I also added glossy accents to the horn and star and then sprinkled some ultra fine glitter while it was still wet. Finally, I white embossed the saying. Isn't she the cutest?!

Don't forget to follow the instructions above for your chance to win some amazing prizes! Thanks for stopping by my blog!
