New Adventure!

Those who know me well, know that I love all things crafting!  Well now that I am approaching a certain number, which shall not be spoken, I thought it was time for me to start pursuing some of my passions.  For the craft world that means, well...CRAFTING!  So to say that I am excited for an opportunity to become a member of a stamping companies Design Team, is an understatement.  Pink & Main (www.pinkandmain.com) is a new and wonderful stamp company owned by the same wonderful lady who owns Designs on Cloud 9 (www.designsoncloud9.com).  Her stamps are very detailed and made of suburb quality.  Oh, and did I mention they are made in the USA!!!!  As if that wasn't enough, she also created matching cut files to use with her stamps.  That means no more fussy cutting folks!  Those that stamp know that we will go to great lengths when designing so we don't have to spend forever cutting an image out.  Especially if that image is detailed.  This has opened up even more creativity for me.

Below are my first two stamped projects!  Inspired by all those "Super Mom's" and "Super Dad's" out there!  It may be hard to tell from the photos, but I cut out the letters "MOM", and popped that up so I could put a skyline and super hero behind.  It was super easy and I love how it came out.  The super hero dad card also has dimension.  I used a "wobbler" to make the dad pop of the card.  An action wobbler (www.inkyantics.com/acc5.htm), is a cool little do-hickey that has adhesive on one side (attaches to the card) and adhesive on the other (attaches to the stamped image) and in-between is a spring that makes the image pop and move off the card.  These cards use the following stamp sets:  Super Dad, Super Mom, Directional Borders, and Sunny Days (www.pinkandmain.com).

WOW! Have I been off the grid lately or what??

Just a few projects I worked on this year.  I have lots more to share so stay tuned!

This is a card I made my daughter for Valentine's Day. She still loves when I give her a handmade card.

These were teachers gifts last year.  I mainly used Making Memories Halloween stickers on these for a quick fun gift.

A simple card for a "chair-sh"ed friend :)
