Deck the Halls

I am sharing a collaboration with Rinea and Pink & Main! Please stop by Pink & Main's blog all week for wonderful inspiration from our Design Team members using both Rinea and Pink & Main products. At the end of the week a random winner will be chosen to receive a $25 gift certificate to the Pink & Main store. Make sure you comment on the featured blog post each day to be entered to win!

For my project I created two holiday cards. I die cut the ornaments using Rinea's gold foil paper then ran them through an embossing folder. I love how the image just pops. I also used the Rinea's Autumn Foil Variety Pack. red star foil paper, to cut out Pink & Main's amazing ribbon dies. I embossed the sayings and sprigs in gold and finished them off with some tiny cream and gold ribbons.

A closer look at the cutting and embossing process:

Day 5 -- Pink and Main & Xyron BLOG HOP!

Hello everyone! Welcome to the 5th and final day of our Pink and Main & Xyron blog hop. I hope you have been hopping with us all week.  Don't forget to comment on both Pink and Main and Xyron blog posts for a chance to win a $25 store credit to Pink and Main as well as a Xyron prize pack! The more you comment the more chances you have to win! So show our design team members some love.

I am excited to share my project with you. I decided on a scrapbook layout. It allowed me to showcase Pink and Main's fabulous products, while using Xyron adhesive, which made for an easier and complete application. Nothing is falling off this sucker! I wanted a circle background, but just couldn't find the right one. So I made my own using the Silhouette cutting machine. I have provided you with the file for your personal use below. A complete list of all supplies used, along with links, will be at the bottom.

Here is a detailed explanation of how I covered the circles :)

Hope you enjoyed my project. Thanks for stopping by!

Don't forget to stop by the Xyron FB page and Pink and Main Blog to see all the awesome projects!

I am so happy to share my design team project with you. When I saw these images I just knew I wanted to do something out of the box. I love the theme and searched for a way to make a "Tepee" card.  A cool feature is that it comes apart to be mailed (Velcro closure). I tried to do a little tutorial below. I hope that helps get the idea across. Supplies used are listed below the images.

Velcro thin clear fasteners 5/8in Circles
Tim Holtz Distress Inks and water brush
Watercolor paper
Bone Folder
Fast drying glue

I hope you enjoyed my card. Don't forget to check out Pink and Main

April Release Sneak Peek!

Got to play with the new release from Pink and Main today. WOW! I just get more and more blown away every month. This month included these awesome bear dudes! They are so much fun, especially with the matching dies. I made the skateboard dude move by placing him on a wobbler! I achieved the shiny glasses using a gel pen, both silver and gold. I also used my prismacolor colored pencils and gamsol for blending. Make sure you check out the PINK AND MAIN website for these and other awesome products.

Here is a link to Pinterest to learn more about how to make Z-cards. There are so many options that can be used with this design.

Easter Treats - Pink and Main

Who out there thinks mother nature is very confused? It's no wonder so many people are sick with all the huge changes. It snowed, finally, last night here in MD. It was hard to gear up for an Easter project with snow on the ground, but it was a fun one. I created these treat bags for my niece and nephews for Easter. They have a variety of chocolate yummies inside.

All stamps are from Pink and Main.

Happy Easter?!?! :p

Thanks, so stinkin' kind of you CARD for PINK AND MAIN

Hope everyone is doing well. I am sharing my card for Pink and Main Design Team. I was able to use the brand new released stamp set Scentsational. I can not say enough just how darn cute this stamp set is. There are so many elements: mushrooms, ladybugs, snails, flowers, skunks, etc., not to mention there are matching dies for all of them. I also used the fab black and white polka-dot paper from one of our new stamp padsStitched rounded square dies, and the Thanks die. To give the Thanks die dimension, I cut it out several times and layered it over top. I achieved the color variation using Tim Holtz Distress Inks and blending tool. I also used a bunch of masking on this card. TIP: Use post it notes and then you can save your mask for future use.
